h1 WHEELS ON h2?
will they fit? if so they are 18" with 37"s will that fit?

Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
37" tires are not gonna fit on a stock H2, but I've always wondered about the H1 wheels.

No. I couldn't even turn 3/4 lock to lock w/ mine. Had to lift it. |
Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
I think you would need a spacer for the tire inflation/deflation fitting on the inside of the hub and I have serious doubts about the bolt pattern.

Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
If I recall correctly, H1 wheels will fit on an H2, the bolt pattern is the same (8x6.5in = 8x165.1mm). I believe the hub on the H1 is larger, but that doesn't matter because H2 wheels can be run lug-centric.
If you were going the other way, H2 wheels on and H1, you have to have the hole for the hub machined open more to fit. There's a thread on here somewhere about this... EDIT: http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...6&highlight=h1 Regarding the 37"...if they are 12.5 they will more than likely fit without much (or any) rubbing (it depends on the truck...some do some don't)...tweaking the torsion bars or installing a leveling kit will fix that. |
Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
I don't understand how zach. and cashville are having so much luck. My stock BFG's still rub even though they are down to the last tread (same tires since the truck was new).

Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
My stock 35's rubbed slightly at full lock. My 37's rub slightly also which isn't a big deal. I am running the Cognito upper control arm kit. But know someone else without the upper control arm kit running 37's as well with no issues

Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
Well...I you learn something new every day...stock 35s rubbing, huh.
Looks like GM should have went with a 5" backspacing instead of 5.5" when they were pushing these puppies out. |
Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
I didn't say the 37's didn't rub, I said they would fit without the need to lift. They rub a little on full turn, nothing that I worry about..

I think its just like some women claim they are a size 2....when their ass really is a size 6. Yea, you can jam'em in there.... ;) My mazzi wheels came off an H1...there was no mods to them. |
Re: h1 WHEELS ON h2?
This is a forum and when someone asks a question you should give him/her the full answer like telling the OP whether they would rub or not. Rubbing is a concern when talking about wheels and tires regardless of whether it is or is not a concern to you. We're not salesman selling stuff.
"Yeah, I'll sell you a camera..." "Wait, it doesn't have a battery." "That's extra. No refunds." "Well you didn't say that..." "No refunds!" |
