Which radio?

The nav unit:

Or the 6-disc changer unit:

Or do you mean the size of the opening in order to replace the factory stereo?

The Delphi TNR800 has a 6.5" screen.

The entire opening in the dash will accommodate an 8" screen.

A CarPC running Centrafuse front-end software. There's a thread about it here: http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=42146

I have to update the links to the pics though...looks like I change something Photobucket.

Thanks a lot for the info. Im looking to buy another radio and didnt want to get one too small where it would look silly in such a big truck and dash. I might go with the Kenwood 6990 or the Sony 601bt. anyone have any experience with these radios?

I have a 3 year old Kenwood and have been happy with it.

Your going to want to get a double din size radio, and with the combination of a dash kit, it will look similar to the pic below.

Here is a thread I created on changing out the factory radio with an aftermarket one and how to maintain OnStar and warning chime audio:

Mike, thanks for the info and greate writeup. I think I'm getting the Kenwood DNX9980HD along withthe gmos-100, in dash receiver kit and the antenna adapter. This should do it.
