SUT Trunk keys
 

Hello. I just got a SUT, and it didn't come with keys to open the top of the trunk.
This is not a generic key like the roof rack keys, right?
Should I just have the lock changed?

btw, I'm guessing that trunk key is the same that opens the compartment on the right of the trunk right?

The tonneau cover key is by itself keyed alone....the inside trunk compartment is opened with ignition key. Hope that helps.

Thanks. The compartment doesn't open up with my key, it doesn't even fit, so I'm guessing a previous owner changed the lock...

What is the # on the cylinder on the cover? If it's one that someone already has on the forum here a copy is much cheaper than paying the crazy dealer fees for one like I had to do when I bought mine.

Right now the only key I don't have is for the compartment on the right of the trunk.
I found the tonneau keys :)

Did you get this resolved? I just brought home an 05 SUT and of course, there is no roof rack or tonneau cover key.

I had the key all the time, but the lock is not in that good of a condition, so the keys were not entering properly, so I though they weren't from the tonneau cover.
