P0053 Error
 

I just got a code P0053, which is HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 1, Sensor 1).
Can anyone point out exactly where I can find this sensor so I can check for corrosion, and possibly do the exchange myself, if needed.

$19.50 fix. I just posted a thread on this:

It's the driver side O2 sensor before the Cat.

That is the same sensor as the one I should replace for the code I'm getting?
I though the sensor would be a different one from the O2's...

Yes, that is the same code I got too. The heating element goes out in the O2 sensor. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the sensor between the header and the cat, driver side. Unplug it, wrench it off and replace it. Some PB Plaster might help if it's rusted in there.
