Got a (new) to me duece SUT
 

Brought home a black 05 SUT with only 15K miles today from Michigan!
Feels god to be back in a duece!
Pics to come when I can get her cleaned up. Lots of bugs from the drive from MI to Indiana.

One thing tho' no tonneau cover keys and or roof rack keys, and no second key & fob.

I know the ignition keys are on ebay, but what about the tonneau cover and roof rack keys?

Thanks Egan! I had just been searching on this site and found the old thread. Just ordered and for $10.45 they are on the way!

I'm just worried about the tonneau cover lock now.

Be glad you got a tonneau cover---those are 100 times harder to get than just the keys.
I'd think a good locksmith should be able to set you up--shouldn't break the bank.
We used to live directly across the street from a good locksmith--that came in really handy!

I actually just wound up buying a coded key from the dealer. It listed at $70!, but they give me small discount. Wound up being around $50...ouch!
Then I notice today, I'm missing two rear red marker lights...uuugh.

Roof rack keys are universal, all are the same. The tonneau cover on the other hand are something you'll have to go to a locksmith for. Do yo have the Airbag key?Nice pick-up on the SUT, I just checked into the KBB value of mine and it's $29K.Trade-in value $23K and a private sell value of $26K. I also have a 2005 and it has 72K miles on it.Adventure and Luxury Pkg.Enjoy your SUT, I love mine.

Actually the roof rack keys are diff, they look the same but are not. Thats why they have diff numbers on them i.e- E003, E005, etc.
The airbag key is just the ignition key.

But like I said, I do have a tonneau cover key coming from the dealer, so I should be all good thanks!

It's only been a few days, but I think I like the SUT better than the H2 SUV I had previously:beerchug:

No comprende' on the missing tail lights? Are you talking the ones in the ends of the bumper? I thought '05 and earlier didn't get them, while 06 & up did?
Something like that---does yours have holes where they would go? Might be somebody had some other kind of light in there and took them out when they sold. Pics?

Oh well, we need pics of the truck anyway!

My 05 has the lights in the bumper. Maybe it was a mid-year change kind of thing:

Eagan, I'm missing the two center mounted red rear lights. Right above the rear third brake light. There shooud be three small lights and I only have two. The holes are there as is the wiring. Soemthing must have happened to the lights?

I'll be posting some pics late this week. I bought this new rig, and have been working OT all week and havent had time to enjoy it yet...lol
