They were on EBay a long long time ago. They came in black only and I think they ran about $200 each. Someone posted a pic of them on a Hummer at SEMA once. I tried to find the old post on them and I'm thinking it was in the summer of 2005 or 2006.

Guruerror,
It is amazing what you are able to find. I mean going to a VW website? I would have never figured...... Amazing though that sure enough there they are
Either you have some super duper search engine that is attached to your brain that can bring pictures into a search application

OR

You sat at the computer all day long looking for these :-)

Given, these arent my cup of tea BUT....

Either way you keep making me think there is a reason for GURU in your name :-)

You actually considering removing your mirrors for those? They would have to be pretty damn big to look right. I'd increase the size compared to the yellow h2 at least 50%. Its purpose function over form for racing, I'm sure they don't want to be smacking brush...but they look way to wimpy at that size. ;)

Google image search is the ****. I use that more than regular search tracking down physical products.

I'm just toying with some ideas at this point. I would DEFINITELY miss the size of my stock mirrors on the highway, but I'm seeing a possible geographical relocation in my future that would put me in an area with more off-road options; so it's kinda got my mental wheels spinning a bit.

Agreed...Google's Image search ROCKS!

Search for something in Google...like 'naked fat butts', then click the Image link at the very top of the page.

It reduces your search down to images only.
