Have a hard eye on that 12k lb. winch that rough country is advertising. Anybody have any information on this winch? I'm slightly concerned about the electrical draw this monster might have. Anything on the horizon for a beefier alternator or dual battery setup... anyone have any idea where you'd even stash a second battery?

There is a little space behind the air handler. But it would be tight. Maybe F5 could shed some light. You would need a bracket and a way to stay off the tubes that run under that space. It would take some engineering.
Problem with mounting in the back of H3 is spacial loss offerd resistance to front end. Requires heavy gauge cabling to compensate drops.

Never thought of it. If installing a winch, I would just recommend yanking the factory battery and installing a yellow top optima. Keep the motor running while winching and there should be no problem.
