i was flicking trough the channels last night and caught a part of that fx movie about a gas crisis or something.well there showing a newscast about whats goin on in the movie and they show a h1 off road and there saying that hummer is out of buisness

so i got a laugh and kept on flicking .

I watched that movie. It was actually fairly decent - the message I got out of it was not that we should stop driving SUVs (which they didn't focus on at all - not one mention of blaming car manufacturers for not improving gas mileage), but that we should start drilling the heck out of Alaska! It was about our over-dependence on foreign oil not changing our lifestyle. I did find it ironic that HUMMER was the only vehicle name they mentioned - in all fairness, they didn't say GM, it was focused on AM General and the production of the Humvee. They did show an H1 for some reason.
