Is it really easy to install?
i'm pretty technical when it comes to doing stuff like this, but i've never tackled a lift kit before. Is it the same as lowering a car? Just looking to save a little money on installation. If it's not worth it i'll pay for installation. any input is great! thanks, |
if you have the knowledge, tools and lifts, jacks, i would say go ahead and do it yourself to save some money. the install is pretty straight forward. a little more technical than lowering but nothing that someone with know-how couldn't handle. just be very careful as there are unseen forces at work under there

i just remembered i dont have tall jack stands!
looks like i'll just get it installed! thanks for the input. |
i think it would be best to have installed that way if any problems arise you have some recourse

why?
It is an over-priced, under-performing POS, like most Rancho gear. Bide your time and get the Rought Country or better still, Fabtech lift. -C |

Rancho has been out for a long time? how can you say that? Plus i dont want to lift the thing too high! isnt rough country higher then the rancho? There is also a price factor between the two products... Rancho being cheaper, no? |
I think Rough Country may have a 3 inch lift coming next month. I say, I THINK, I'm not sure. Maybe FormerJeeper could share some of his knowledge on the subject. Just a side note, I've had my fair share of problems with Fabtech as well.
