I still haven't decided if I'm going to adjust the torsion bars or keep it where it sits now. What do you guys think? |

|
very quiet, but you definitely feel the road more. Very light hum.

Those look very good. I hope you plan on getting them muddy.

How much did they cost you?
|
They only had 4 at the Toyo warehouse. I might have to wait a few weeks for the spare.
Cost $225 a tire installed. |

They look sweet!
|
I'm drooling...
|
Those are incredible .. What size are they, do they seem to reduce your power any?
|
Thanks for the compliments.....I've got to thank "Kacyk" for his write up on these tires.
They're 285/75/r16's. They're a bit heavier than the stock 33's, but loss of power isn't an issue at all. They're pretty much the same exact size as the stock tires, maybe a 1/8" taller. But on the rim, they look 'much' bigger. Also, it's amazing how quiet they are. At 75 mph, the sound of the wind is louder than the tires. No noticeable change in "noise", just a different sound. Earlier today, I parked right next to a luxury package H3 with the 32" Goodyears. The Toyo's dwarfed them. |
Here is my $.02,,,,
From the Motor City "No way in HELL would I put a set of Toyo's,,Yokohama's,,or Fujimama's" On my American made H3 or my CJ7 That being said,,,Aggressive tires really make an H3 "Pop" HURF |
Good point HURF. Unfortunatedly this narrows the choices down to two:http://www.usstuff.com/cartires.htm. Which would you go for? Which model?
