A bad guy, is a bad guy, is a bad guy -- -- without regard to what kind of car he drives. I think the problem is with the TV station. If the thief was driving a yellow Ford Mustang, they wouldn't have mentioned the car.
By luck, I just happened to see the following article on line: "POINCIANA, Fla. (AP) — A 4-year-old boy was thrown from his living-room couch into the kitchen when a sport utility vehicle driven by an 11-year-old neighbor hit his house. Joseph Gillett was not injured Monday when he was thrown into the kitchen, where his parents were making dinner. His mother, Gina Gillett, said she was folding laundry on the living room floor until moments before the crash. "I hear like a big bang," said Gina Gillett. "I thought, 'Is the world exploding?'" She suffered the only injury of the night when she stepped barefoot onto broken glass. The driver's mother said her daughter was trying to close the electric windows in the SUV when it started." No mention of the type of car. This is more typical of a news report because the station doesn't want to give "free plugs" to brands. As a broadcasting policy, they do this to protect the advertisers who are paying for air spots. AZ Hummerboy's article (thanks for posting it) illustrates something I believe: The leftist press "has it in for us" and we'll just have to live with it. I counter them by taking my friends for rides in my H2 (they all love it), by being a courteous driver, and by not bad-mouthing clearly inferior rigs (i.e., everything else). It works. Best regards, George SSSS Don't wrestle in the mud with a pig. You get dirty and the pig enjoys it. |
It is apparent that this Hummer owner has now turned to the "Black Puppy Market" to offset the raising cost of gasoline.

I guess what makes me so mad, is Hummer Owners are all ready getting a bad rap around the Country for owning the Hummer.
And then some Jerk Steals a dog while driving a Hummer, it makes us Hummer Owners look like we are Jerks. And if you can afford to drive a Hummer, you should be able to afford to buy a dog, and not to steal one. There is another part to the story that I did not tell. The lady that lost her dog, the dog was given to her for her fight with Cancer. I lost Two Love Ones last year to Cancer, so I know where this lady is coming from. I'm sure she really loved the dog and it meant the world to her. |
Why don't we put up a reward for the return of the dog?
|
It's even more sad that someone used a YELLOW HUMMER to do something. How much more recognizable can you be. I am guessing they stole the Hummer first and then stole the dog.
|
Well, maybe we should give the Hummer Owner the benefit of the doubt. The dog was evidently loose out in the front yard. Could the dog been loose off property, down the street, the Hummer owner then spots the dog, the dog runs and the Hummer owner then picks up the dog, not realizing the dog ran back to the home where it lived? The Hummer owner may be a hero, saving the poor mut from traffic.
This is a reasonable explanation..... |
AZ Hummerboy: Please accept my condolences.

I really like the idea of gathering a reward together (Klaus, you are Santa aren't you
![]() It would be good for everybody, it may gain nat'l attention that would be positive for Hummer owners, good for Jason, a kick in the pants for that eco-nazi prick in prison and most importantly good for the lady. It won't have to be that much per person anyone interested? I could put it together. |
I'm in!!!
I'll donate a puppy ear and a tail, if y'all can come up with the rest of him we'll be in business! Sorry, this one was cocked and loaded for some humor to be added! I'd be willing to donate a little for the cause! Ric-H2 |
I'm in for what ever You say Co-pilot. Hey I mentioned about taking up a donation on on other topic and no one said anything. Co-pilot asks for money and We all start slobbering all over ourselves to donate.
![]() ![]() Oh Yeah I forgot the tan thing. ![]() I get it. I'm just going to have to improve My tan. ![]() TAZ |
OK - Sounds good. If we are going to do this, we need to do it quickly. It would be nice if we could collect enough money so that if the dog is not returned, the money could be given to the victim to buy another dog.
Co-Pilot can be point on this. I'll throw in $100. |
I'm in .
|
I'm in for $100. Co-pilot let us know how to get it to You. Paypal or whatever.
I would suggest We give it to Her even if dog is returned. It would show our heart is in the right place reguardless of how it works out with the dog. I hope She get the poochie back. thanks TAZ |
I'll particpate too.
Here's the kicker. Only one TV Station (KTSP Fox 10) featured the story. None of the other local stations (KTVK CNN 3, KPHO CBS 5, KPNX NBC 12, and KNXV ABC 15) showed anything on it. Now, to add further insult to injury - KTSP Fox 10 won't go into any more depth on it. Vern - did you get a chance to record the clip? -Steve |
What about newspapers? Are there any that would take interest. Probably not if they are like most.

I just saw on The News Fox TV 10 out of Phoenix that the Stolen Dog was return to it Owner in North Scottsdale.
The way the story goes is the person in the Hummer found the dog and was putting up lost signs saying they found the dog. It was two girls in a Hummer. There is more to this story then meets the eye, on the new last night the Owner of the dog told the News she saw a Yellow Hummer in her drive way racing away " it was a drit drive way, and she says the Hummer was throwing rocks everywere as it was racing away". I think the girls saw it on the News and thought they better return the dog befor the Police show up. I am so happy the lady got her dog back. Dwayne AKA- Arizona Hummerboy I would like to thank everyone who wanted to help this lady out. I think Hummer People are the Best People Around, and I am Damn Proud to Own A Hummer! |
