RIC-H0 03-31-2004 11:19 PM

I took my H2 in to the dealer for a bunch of other minor things, and was told that the auto volume only adjust the bass in the vehicle when the interior noise level goes up or down. It is not speed dependent. There was supposively a tech report on this. Does anyone have any info on this, or is the dealer full of it?

Thanks,
Ric-H2

I don't have technical info, but can tell you it sounds like the highs and mids get louder in addition to the lows. I don't know if it is speed sensitive however, it seems to me it only gets louder when I get on the highway.

Anthony,

Are you implying that your auto volume works? If so you are the first person to post on here that it actually works.

Ric,

I do believe that it is supposed to be the full spectrum not just the base. I believe your dealer is blowing smoke .

I took mine into the dealer for the same thing and was told it is working fine. I have yet to hear any difference in volume whatsoever. It was very evident on the radio in my Avalanche.

Mine is definitely working. It seems the faster I drive (to a point) the louder it gets. Makes sense. More road noise at higher speeds then tooling around at 20mph.

What in the f*ck is _supposively_?
I think we've all heard the poor word, supposedly, butchered into supposebly, and Ebonically as stupposibly, but supposively is really scraping the bottom of the ****ty spelling barrel. Damn.

Alright Mr. Webster. If I wanted a grammer lesson, I would ask my 14 year old daughter. I'm here to ask for advice, not to re-take the 5th grade. Go teach someone else!
