Listening to XM tonight on my Starbucks run I went past the Urban section- which is fine- to get to the Jazz stuff (real jazz not electronical or elevator stuff).

Anyway, I like to exercise my butt cheeks and thighs to hip-hop when on longer drives. And I like the new Gwen Stefani songs and I happened to see her new "luxurious" video the other day. Nothing wrong with rap really- well, so many things wrong on so many levels but that is another conversation.

Back to the video, I saw something horribly awful, and I found a song tonight about it.

"My Grill" by Nelly or something. Now I have gathered that the thing to do is put a diamond grill in your mouth- or yo mouf as they say. "Lemme see your grill daddy...rob a jewry store and put a grill in yo mouf." There was a guy in the video that had it too. Diamonds on his teeth- CAN YOU IMAGINE THE UNCLEANLINESS??? I thought the gold and platinum was bad. What if he eats some bread or something? EYU!!

Personally, i think she'd look better with a pearl necklace.

That is really common here. Maybe not all diamonds as most hoods cannot afford it. It is all a part of the "Ghetto Rich" lifestyle. The sad part is that most of the folks who have the crazy teeth live in a rundown shack. They usually have a really nice car though. Crazy if you ax me tho'.
