Probably won't be popular on here with all the "bling" haters. I am thinking of getting nerf bars for my H3. I don't want to get factory when I can get it done for a fraction of the cost. Do you guys recommend chrome or stainless steel? I hear chrome rusts pretty bad. Also thinking of getting a chrome fuel door. Is the fuel door hard to install? If so, should I go factory on this? Factory prices are outrageous but I want it done right. Thanks in advance.

The chrome fuel door is easy to install. Save your cash, do it yourself and buy more BLING!!!

WV,

The RealWheels chrome locking gas cap cover is easy to install. I did it in 15 minutes. I would recommend it.

The OEM chrome cap might be more difficult to install, based on the feedback from the forum.

All of the gas doors are pretty easy, with the exception of the MC2(now Forge Tec) locking door. PM me and I can walk you through most of them.

You guys are awesome! The dealer that sold me my truck acted like it was an extensive operation. He said it would take hours to complete. That sounds more like it.

Aggie, when I get it I'll probably be asking you a few questions.

I have the black version. It's a really simple install, just a couple of self tapping screws and the 3M tape.

Hey I have alot of chrome extras it was no problem at all. I'm also a mini blinger of my H3 I don't have "Ice" wheels but I did just order 20' black with chrome lip zinick wheels.

I will jave pics soon that make the 4x4ers sick and the customizers in awe LOL well not to that extreme but I love it!
