I called today to get a quote on powdercoating my rims black. He quoted me $50 a wheel! I haven't done it yet due to not having a vehicle while it's getting powdercoated. But the pictures on his website look pretty damn good, and he seemed like a supernice guy on the phone. So if you need powdercoating done on anything and live near the dallas area, look him up.

You should try to do it yourself. It's really not that difficult.
Just need an oven big enough to fit your wheels!
(Just don't tell anybody you cooked your wheels in the oven and you'll be fine!)

It's just like spraying anything else, except with a babypowder-like paint, and don't touch yourself with the spraygun, it is electrostactically charged, and it hurts!

I have the setup big enough to do rims and I can tell ya that for 200 bucks you won't even get a good gun, let alone the oven. I frickin love powdercoating now, the mess just never completely goes away once you are finished.

I got a great deal when I had mine done. I had a local forum sponsor do mine at a competitive price. They did my center caps in plasticoat also.

$25.00 per rim for sand blasting
$50 per Pcing easch rim
$10 per center cap to be plastic coated

that was on my SUT. SOLD! They looked like everyone elses PC'd black rims.

The rims were BK08 paint code
Center cap were liquid black paint code that was matched to the rim color.

that plastic coat did great. Even wafter running them through mud, snow they did great.
