Mr H...gather up about $300 and mosey on over to your local car electronics store, and ask them for the video interface. I had mine installed for $375 total. Not sure what the model or name is, but you can also then use your nav screen for a back up camera too

4C does the interface you had installed allow audio to go along with the video or just video input?

4Churchill, Thanks. Will this allow me to put the DVD in the NAV slot and play it with sound over the system?

mr H i was told it would. I have yet to try it. The only reason I have it is for the back up camera, and to play dvd's through my dvd player in the center console. I dont like to take out the nav disc as losing/scratching it would be a disaster. I would recommend putting a seperate dvd player in your center console or glovebox.

Lex, i get sound while playing them through my dvd playe rin the console. I also have had and audio interface put in so i can run my ipod and at the time teh audio through the seperate dvd player/headrrests.

You can't play a DVD through the TNRs DVD disc slot. You can have an external video source show up on your TNR screen, beit a DVD, VHS CCT or what-have-you

Go here http://jpcustoms.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=306 and tell them what you want. The can probably get video to work on your nav screen plus using the adapter mentioned above and then get sound from the DVD player through your radio with another adapter.

To be more clear. You will need a seperate DVD player, an adpater that would run the video feed to the TNR and then another adapter that would run the audio feed through the TNR's audio.
