Got the call today from my dealer, all the Hummers held up in quality control have been released. Soon to be a Hummer H3 owner in a few days. Dealer told me GM wanted to do a complete review of the these orders before they were shipped.

I would not get too excited. My dealer told me two weeks ago, that my slate blue H3 was built and waiting to be shipped. I called today to get an update and was told that my H3 was "on hold". I said why and the only response was that there might have been a quality assurance problem.

To make a long story short, he says that it is futile to call Hummer because they cant' (or won't) be straight with the dealer. I just cant believe this ##$#$#@!!!

My belief is that we will probably get our H3 sometime in late August or 9 weeks after we placed our order!!

Hummer customer service rep call me today and also connfirmed my H3 was on the road to my local dealer. Released date confirmed by both dealer and Hummer direct (7/25/05). Transport is by rail car and then by road trailer when it gets to nearest rail head.
