Would the Procomp Xterrain 40x13.5x20 on the Procomp 6079 wheel fit under a Fabtech 6" lift for an H2? If not, what modification is needed?

Yes they will fit, but you may need to add torsion keys and adjust you rear air bag sensor. A friend of mine did this to his H2 and added an additional 2 inches of lift to his fabteck kit.

Yes but it rubs quite a bit. I tried it. Also, unless you regear both the front and rear you'll have significant power loss. I tried it. The ride is horrible and it shakes like a dog ****ting peach seeds. I tried it.

yep it will fit and you can take care of the rub by slightly modifying your wheel well, no torsion keys and no airbag mods.

Thanks for the info guys!

Salt Lake City Hummer -- What kind of wheels are you running on those 40's. What's the backspacing and offset? And what minor modifications did you do to the wheel wells? I'd like to get as much info as I can before dropping mucho dinero $$ into my Hummer.

Thanks.

Its a Weld EVO Slingblade 22x9.5" Im not sure of the backspacing as of yet and i modified the wheel well by pulling back the plastic and cutting away some fiberglass and part of the rocker panel protection bar then i pulled the plastic splash guard back into the void i created with a screw. i"ll try to post some pics later, so all this crap makes sense.

Haha KenP, no peach seeds for me. Looking forward to some more info from SaltLakeCityHummer to avoid some of those peach seeds.

MisterH2,
These are before and after pics: (B) here is a screw to suck it in tight after I cut away some material. (C) this is looking up at the bottom of the well, I cut away everything in the red (about 1/2") (D)here is that same screw pulling everything back. I also cut away some of the rocker panel protection bar, as you can see in pic #B.

Here is a shot of my steps, I spaced them back about 1" .I just picked up some longer bolts and 48 nuts to use as spacers.
