Took my truck in for repair on the power steering pump again , has this happened to any one more than once?

What was it doing? Mine is hard to turn when I first try to pull out of a parking spot... wondering if this could be problem. Thanks!

my 03 doeas the same thing when I start it up in the morning. than it seems to fine. The dealership checked it twice now and sais the is normal.

2 days after I brought home my 2003 back in August of 2002 my power steering pump leaked all over my driveway. My dealer said it was not uncommon for these GM pumps to fail. Never had a problem since.

Sunset, when mine started to go it was whinning real loud and yes it was hard to turn, it would also get loud when I would use the breaks.The first time it went the dealer told me it was the boggers that did it, this time it went with the stocks on.

Sunset - Same problem here. Called the dealer and they said this is normal. Going in for service on Monday with long list of minor issues and going to give them hell about the pump. I'll let you know what they say.

I have not had that problem with the H2 but my Tahoe had it. Took to the dealership and they replaced the pump. Never had the problem recur.

I have the same problem with the pump;I'm from Romania and I can not find here a H2 dealer to buy this part;can somebody help me?

I only notice mine in the am when I first start it up and it goes away. It only seems to happen when it's started from a cold start. Other than that, I haven't had any problems at all.
