I'm in a bit of a debate right now on which spare tire cover to get.
One is stainless steel, painted to factory color, and has the Hummer logo. It has a locking mechanisim underneath. The price of this is $249.99 ![]() The other is "rigid face" which I am assuming is hard plastic and has the Hummer H3 logo. I'm not sure if this one has a locking mechanism or not. The price of this is $89.00 ![]() What do you all think? Are there any other decent options? Also, I have a birch white H3, and am debating either going with a birch white cover or black cover (that is if I go the stainless route!) Thoughts? |

Maybe it is just me, but the first one looks to me like it should be on a van, not a Hummer.
|
I agree with HummerNewbie, something does not look right about it. Maybe its the white color and the black may look better.
|
I like the black cover better. Also I wouldn't want to add any additional weight to the tail gate.
|
Call me crazy but I think it looks best without any cover at all.

I wish I had upgraded the wheels to chrome as well.
Thanks for the responses! |
I like the body colored one, in this case the white; however, I agree, it does look like it was designed for a van or a H3 that will never see off-road use.

LOL!
I swear, if you two never said anything about "designed for a van" I would have never thought twice about it! Now I don't even want it! ![]() I have been seeing some other "SUV's" on the road that have body matched spare tire covers and they're hit or miss with me. I guess I'll just keep with what I have now, and hope that I get some chrome wheels soon. |

Well, I like Bling, but I also like the rugged look of the 33's which I have, Advent. Pack with Lux inside. I was thinking about the wheel cover as well. But when My kids said, You know what I like about the H3 is The Rear Spare tire looks so cool. Its so Hummer. That ended that. No spare tire cover.
