Can someone take a picture of where the roof light harness plugs into the Hummer harness (outside and on the roof of the truck)? I have a question on how the connector is suppose to attach to something that would keep it from flopping around. It has a T-plastic peg that would go into a hole some place...but where is the hole?

When you say factory roof light are you talking about the marker lights?

VTSTOMPER 10-08-2005 04:44 PM

oops, I should have been more clear - sorry about that.

By roof light harness he means "Naughty School Girl" by Hummer harness he meant "Motor Cycle" by attach he meant "ass in seat" and by "but where is the hole?" he meant ... What did you mean by that

Talk about hijacking a thread. I can see where this is going. VSSTOMPER: You might have to start over.

Best regards,

Well see, right there's your problem. There are no factory offroad roof lamps. (Are there?)

Hey Jersey -- those aren't factory lamps in your picture. They're clearly aftermarket add-ons.

VTSTOMPER 10-08-2005 06:13 PM

Damn NJ H2! That's nice! reminds me of some girls I used to work with!

It is HUMMER factory light bar. I also added the HUMMER factory lamps, and Hummer harness. I think I need to put a hole in one of the bar ends (the feet that slide in the roof rails)

VTSTOMPER 10-08-2005 06:32 PM

found a pic that tells me kinda...

Sorry, VT, not sure how to respond to this one. That's the first I've heard of the Hummer lights.

If it's an add-on item then it stands to reason you have to add the hole? Not sure if I'd put the hole and T-thang on the outboard edge (tree catcher).

Sorry bud. Yanked your chain all over the place on this and now I got nuttin' but air...

VTSTOMPER 10-08-2005 07:47 PM

It is ok bud!

I found some info about the location of the pin...so I am good. It is on the inside of the end (slide) or foot.
