My h2 had a bad starter with only 27k miles its seems premature to me, anyone have any guesses as to why it happened?

Only one: Sometimes things just break for no reason.

Did they cover it even though you're out of warranty?

I fixed it myself, cost 200 for the starter. The closest hummer is dealer is 30 miles away so rather than tow it there i tryed a new starter and it worked.
