I am goign to the hummer dealer here in Seattle after work t pick up my h2 yellow and want to know what people are negotiating when it comes to sticker price. Lets say the MSRP is 49,995, are you guys paying below or above invoice. I've never negotiated on a car before and need some help guys. Seems like I'm going to be on thie site alot cause there is alot of useful info. Any tips of the trade?

go to carsdirect.com and you should be able to do a couple of hundred below that.
I got my 03 for $1500 below invoice, I think the 04's are going for quite a bit higher

normally... any other car.. you should be able to pay invoice or mostly a bit below... unfortunately the h2 is a hot item.. i paid sticker but was given a great trade so I am sure I paid a below sticker.. not by much.. see for the most part, the dealer knows that if you are looking at a hummer, you are hooked, it is not like you can run over to the ford dealer and see what they have... they got you by the balls.. I bet you can get a good deal on a 2003 though. unaslob

I bought mine from osborne Mccann in tacoma, and at the time they were the only dealer around selling at MSRP. Based on that they might have better deals going on now. You should give them a shot. The guy that sold me my truck is Tyler, ask for him. Good to have another Northwesterner on the board. maybe we can hit the trails sometime and break your new truck in

I paid $6,500 off of invoice at end of August 2003 on a 2003 Luxury with Sunroof without 3rd Row Seat. Talk to DuramaxTim on this forum about possibly getting a GM In The Driveway coupon. Also, check www.gminthedriveway.com to check on rebates with this plan.

Sticker on mine was $54,640 or something in that area and I paid $47,110 for mine, so you do the math....
