Seems like it would be pretty goofy looking given the height of the front seats and the angle to the pedals. Might come in handy if you are stretching for something in the back though.

It is weird, I miss it - but I think it is only because my other cars have them.

I hear you - I feel it probably would be a waste...it is just that my left leg has not home!

This has bugged me too. I had dead pedal positions for my left foot in 3 BMWs, 1 Porsche and my 1996 Montero. When I have time, I plan to relocate the electrical box at the left front of driver's footwell in my H2 and install a slim, discrete dead pedal. If you do it before I do, let me see how it turns out. If I'm first, I'll post pics.

I totally disagree. I'm constantly looking for a place to put my left foot, especially when going over rough terrain. I don't care if it looked stupid or not, function is what I'm looking for.

Nice! TXSUT, I just tossed that part in because I didn't want people to make fun of my if it was a bad idea!

I am going to try to find something to put in there. Diamond tread comes to mind...
