I can't remember the number, but not...they did not finish. They will be on the "out of competition" listing somewhere. Its too bad.....they scrambled to make a repair and just barely went over the allowed service time.....so they are out.

I posted in General discussion, their "repair" truck got stuck and could not reach them with the parts they needed. Guess it just wasn't in the cards.

We all know who to watch next year! Well at least I got a cool H3/Dakar T-Shirt from Robby Gordon Racing.

I think the radiator broke and they said they would use the same type vehicle next year just have some "T" truck for support.

Did you guys wathc any of the coverage on oln? It looked bad arse! The hummer had a super spongy suspension that could handle jumps at ridiculous speeds. Sucks the Didn't finish. I wanted them to bad the Ghey in the VW tour-egg! I'll be watching the Baja races!

Well i had no interest in it . 1st off there was nothing Hummer about his Hummer . It was a pure race truck with some " more or less " Hummer skin on it .

If he took 1st place Hummer had NO bragging rights any way .

I wonder if there are "Stock" clsses in desert racing??? I think I'd like to try that

Yes there is a production class. The H1 competing back in '96 and '91 I believe.

I am not sure who won either but if VW won they do not have bragging rights either as that is as much of a touraege (sp?) as the Hummer. Hell atleast the Hummer looked like one. The VW looked nothing like a VW.
