I think we'll be able to get an SUT for low $30K's in about 2-3 years with about 50,000 miles on it.

Good luck on that one. Believe me, I've looked all over the US. Not going to happen.

Do what I'm going to do. Buy an 03 or maybe 04 with about 30000miles for mid to high $30k and then in a couple years trade it in for a used SUT.

The H2 is holding it's value pretty strong. I see some 03's still selling for over $40,000. I wonder how long that's going to last.

Hey kid, just tell your mom to keep searching and be patient. I'm sure that she will find one in the low $30,000 range but it could have high mileage and maybe not in the best condition.
