does anyone know how to make those power outlets acc or ignition switched?
i noticed that those outlets are always powerd. i use fm transmitter for ipod and i want it to be turned off as i turned off the key. i really dont like to pull it off every time i get out the car and put it back on evry time i get in. if i have to rewire to feed acc power to the outlet curcuit, where is the best spot to do it so i dont have to rewire all 6 outlets? |

Try this, it may help; http://www.*******club.com/tech/12v.html </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I believe your outlets are 30 amp circuits and this switched circuit is rated at 10 amps I think. If you use it just be careful what you plug in. |
You can switch the source for all accessory ports to a fused IGN tripped relay or solenoid which controls a hot lead off the battery. Here is the factory schematic.
