Has anyone used the Vizualogic back-up camera with the 3.5" screen that mounts in front of the sunroof? If so, How is the resolution? Also , my local shop wants $675 installed including tax OTD. Is this a good price? Thanks.

Great! Thanks Phil.

We have installed many of those units (I really like their license plate cam) for that exact price. Never had any complaints except that the screen is a tad small but ok for its designed purpose.

Thanks for the input Kodiakz. I am also considering the back-up sensors that just beep. I can get that installed for $175 OTD. I'm not sure that I really need the camera for an extra $500.

i didnt need the camera either but i have it installed to my factory nav and just leave it on all the time. kinda cool to see back there i use it all the time for backin up and even switching lanes. of coarse i use my mirrors(sp?) also but the camera gives me one more angle. i have a prety good wide angle camera and its mounted in the rear tire center cap.

I bought a back up camera on E-Bay and paid 170 plus shipping. It included 4 back up sensors as well. Ill let you know how it was to install.

H-CAM vrs. Sensors
It depends on what you need it for.
I have the H-CAM and Lidia's car has the Back-up sensors.
The Back-up sensor is good for parking
and it will alert you if you are about to run over your neighbors Cat
The H-CAM is great for backing up to a trailer hitch perfectly with no help needed. It's also great for parking and you can watch when you run over your neighbors Cat!

Thanks NJ. I don't do very much towing and when I do, My son is always there to help. I think the sensors will do the trick!
