Climbed a slippery hill the other day with a somewhat jagged ninety degree edge. After a few tense seconds of spinning, got over the top and the On Star operator came on to ask if everything was all right. Is there was a way to increase the threshold for that sort of thing or to shut it off?

thats the first i heard of i almost stood mine on its back bumper and it about scared the $hit out of me but no call from onstar

Hmmmm. May be that's what happened. I might have inadvertently hit the On Star button by the left knee while having the **** scared out of me by that climb Thanks.

there is no onstar button by your knee... there is the phone button tho.... maybe that trips it if u dont talk or something?
