ok...weird question.

I have been smelling a gear oil smell every now and then with the windows down when I am at a stop, or have come to a stop. My GMC truck did the same thing...anyone else have this? I do not see ANY fluid leaking at all, and both dif covers look dry?!

IIRC there is a TSB about the diff vent hose letting that smell into the passenger compartment. Klaus can probably find it.

ah, I see. I only get it with the windows down (mainly the rear midgate window) should I worry?
