I've been toying with this forever, and now I want to do it. I was looking at Lynch's site, but I'm in PA, so like 2 days away by car. Their prices are close to supplier, but is that their standard discount or will they take off more with a supplier ID? Also, can I get a car from them being so far away!?

Lynch does deals over the phone all the time. Supplier pricing will be less than their posted price.

Where are you from in PA?

Lynch offered $37,000 for a 2005 Lux with Chome, sunroof, XM, and 33,xxx miles. Think that's a fair offer, or should I shop closer to home? Also, the selling price on the SUT should be south of $53,000 I hope (Lux, equipped same as 2005 SUV I have). Are there deals to beat this on the East Coast? I want a 2006 SUT, Stealth Gray/Slate Blue, XM, Chrome Uplevel. Anyone with something like that to lease, please email me! Thanks.

That seems like a pretty fair trade in for a dealer. I would still shop around home just so you could use their offer when your shopping around else where.

I traded in my 2003 Lux with 44K miles two months ago for $ 34,000. I traded in my 2005 LUX with 9900 miles yesterday for a new 2006 Limited Edition SUV and was given $ 44,000 on the trade in. I would probably shop around a little bit.

Yes, but what did you pay for the Limited Edition. There's always two sides to the deal...

MSeeb 10-30-2005 03:45 PM

I gave $ 65K for the new one

$44 is a strong, strong number. dealers can buy MSO HUMMER executive cars with 2k miles for less then that. And a cust can register those as new

Yea, I thought $44K was a very fair trade in number. The folks over at Lockhart Hummer are super great to deal with. Sales & service alike. I'm looking forward to more business dealings with them.

Can register as new. Does that mean you could lease as well?

Thanks for the help Diz. I'll keep everyone updated on what I find out.

I'd say that's a great trade-in allowance. I saw a pewter '05 wagon with 10K miles listed by the local dealer last week for $42k. The ad mentioned it was a GM executive vehicle, so I'm not sure if was "new" or "used". Either way, I thought it was a good price... You're lucky you got that much.
