When removing the interior spare tire from inside the car and the rack that mounts it I run into a problem. There is a bolt in the very back left about 2 inches from the rear and 2 inches from the side. The bolt sticks up about an inch and a half. Has anyone run into this problem and if so how did you go about fixing this. Thanks to all those who reply.

Most of us have cut it off by using a dremel.

If you wait with cutting the bolt, you can use it to fix your tool bag.
The Husky Liner Cargo Mat even has a hole located at same spot: |
Thanks for all the quick responses. I was afraid it was going to come down to cutting it off.

You are one lucky man. I love Aruba. I have been there many times and may be back in December as long as I can find someone to go with me. Love it down there. Craig |
Thanks, Craig. And when you are here in December we can compare our trucks 2003 vs 2004.
