last friday- i went to a funeral--

the parking lot of the church was slippery due to freezing rain the night before. while in the church, someone else coming to the funeral, hit my baby. nice crunched up drivers side passenger door. NO ONE CAME FORWARD to say they did it. out of respect for the family- i didnt say nothing and after the procession to the grave site-- went and had a police report taken. the sheriff went back to the reception and quietly looked for some other vehicle that was damaged- but who ever did it wasnt stupid enough to come back for that.
4 days later and the word has gotten out and no one has still taken responsibility.. going later to get estimate-- first $500 will be on me-- yeah!

That Sucks!!!! Someone needs to come forward and take responsibility for the accident.

It would have been a 2 for 1 funeral.

From experience- for a new door, paint and finish it'll cost you $1700.

You mean "deductible"? Non-spelling mop-headed coat hanger hippie.
I was letting him know how much it cost me to have my entire door replaced and painted so he would have some information when he went to get an estimate. That way he could decide whether or not to make a claim or just pay for it out of pocket and save his insurance Karma for a more worthwhile claim. But you wouldn't know anything about that kind of reasoning, would you?
Don't get uppity just because an estimate for your S10 entails going to Home depot to price out a roll of duct tape and a can of spray paint.

estimate came in at $1200 from dealership.
goin as a hit and run so wont raise rates.


ps.... i would like to see the use of dumbass in more posts-- for some reason it makes me giggle
