She didn't know what had destroyed a large section of her fence until she checked the video from her home security camera system.

The videotape showed the headlights of an H2 Hummer bouncing around as it took out the fence. The vehicle came into view at the end of its run as it jumped up over a landscaping curb and drove off with boards falling off of the vehicle.

It appeared the vehicle may have been white or canary yellow in color with the additional lighting grid on the front roof of the vehicle. If you see a vehicle matching that description, try to get a license plate number and call Detective Pam Walsh with the Lexington Police Department at 859-258-3617.

The case is being investigated as a hit-and-run.

The incident is more than a costly inconvenience for Barb Cook. She rescues Afghan Hound dogs and desperately needs to be able to use her backyard for her rescue operation. Until her fence is replaced or repaired, she can't use her backyard for her dogs.

She wants her fence fixed and the driver who damaged it caught and brought to justice.

This story can be found at: http://www.wtvq.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=WTVQ/MGArticle/TVQ_BasicArticle&c=MGArticle&cid=1137834547323&pat h=

|
