Got a new fiberglass cover today. Put it on as per instructions drove 30 miles and all good. On way home I look in the rear view and I see it flapping in the wind. The foam sent with it, to wedge between tire and cover is gone from 75mph trip. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks, Mike

Im not sure which one you have but the one i have is a 1 piece cover. When i first looked in my rearview mirror and saw it "wiggling" in the wind i was concerned. I examined how it is constructed and realized its just going vibrate. I just check the screw that holds it on every so often to make sure its still on tight. I have had mine for about 6 or 7 months and no problems, but it defintely vibrates in the wind. Heres the one i have:

Also, i dont have foam piece, nor did i ever(unless in threw it away not knowing what it was)

That is the one I have but I have an SUT and the wind really gets on it. They sent a piece of pipe insulation with it, to act as a gasket between the tire and the cover. It apparently blew out at speed last night. I travel on the highway a lot so if it needs the insulation I'll have to rig it some way. Thanks for the reply,Mike
