I just went to the hummer.com to see have the 2006 changes been activated. Yes they have, but.... if you choose the lux package the mirrers go back as they were before (fully chrome). Can anybody confirm if this is what you get on 2006 lux, or is it just bug on the web site???

Just a bug. You get the new mirrors on the '06 no matter if you get the lux package or not.

Correct all '06 have same mirrors

(and so does my '05 now )

All of you who are more familiar with those new mirrors, can you guys tell if there are any real functional benefits that they have been updated? Like are the motorics better, more reliable, etc etc...

i have an 06 lux and chrome package and i don't have all chrome mirrors

we're talking about the chrome strip embossed with H2
