I understand that head curtain side airbags will not be available until mid model year. That being said I realy want them but would rather get the H3 sooner.

Could these be instaled by the dealer once they become avaialable? Not sure this would be possible but thought someone might know.

No, That would require some major work to get done, I am not even sure if the computer set up is the same, not to mention the sensors required to activate them

no way! If you want them you gotta wait.

I feel the same way and have chosen to wait at this time.

pilot, I want one real bad too but if we wait till fall you will get a better deal and they will work some of the eairly bugs out. Plus the accessories will be there.

Not sure it will take that long to get them, but I can wait.

I'm so bummed. No air bags, no blue paint, dealers are sure to charge a premium. At this rate my wife is going to start begging me to get that Tahoe that she's been wanting.

Like I said in the other post, I under stand these will be released by this weekend from a reliable contact. They realize people want these. I will check again Friday and or Monday to update this.

Thanks H3 Builder....at least 5 people on this and another site have said they will not get the H3 without them.....if you have a chance to pass that on, perhaps it may help prioritize their efforts. Thansk again as always for your involvement here.

There are still issues with the side curtain bags and as of right now they are saying end of May. Sorry for the delay in getting back with you as I wanted to get the right story.

Just keep the info comming! What are the Alpha H3 going to be equiped with?

Nothing for sure yet. Lots of rumors of different things. Will probably won't be out for about 2 years. H2 Alpha will probably be next year.

I'm not sure. I haven't had a vehicle that has had them. If I wanted the H3 bad enough, I'd buy it anyway. I want one but will probably will wait for another year or 2, after I pay my truck off. I would think they would be nice if you were just going to be on the street, with the extra protection and all. But what I was wondering is, has anyone had problems with any air bags, steering wheel, passenger, going off while offroading? If so, I don't think I would want them going off while offroading. Would probably be a mess plus expensive to replace.
