I'm looking at H2 SUT's as a next vehicle and I need something that I can put my sport bike in. I'm curious - does anyone know if a sportbike can fit in the back of an H2 SUT?

Thanks

How long is the bike? Maybe with the mid-gate down.

H2_929 03-10-2006 04:50 AM

Not too sure - probably about 6 feet long ...Yeah I'm wondering if anyone has done it before. I don't know if the bike would be able to fit under the roof with the midgate down. Hmmmm....hard to tell. Anyone seen it done?

FiremanJay 03-10-2006 09:10 AM

Never seen it done but you could put one of these there and still put the midgate down

Dirt Bikes maybe but a Sport Bike??

OrangeCrush 03-10-2006 09:25 AM

Ya know, I'm embarrassed for GM for even showing that idea.

Can you frickin' imagine the difficulty it would be to get your bike up there, hold it and tie it down?

That's just fukkin stupid.

And to make matters worse, they've got two bikes on there.

Hey Ray, do you happen to know if that bike carrier will fit with the tire carrier, even with the tire and rim of the carrier?

</div></BLOCKQUOTE>I'm not sure but I ordered the Versa-Haul (VH-SPORT-RO) from that site. I will just take the tire off the back if I have to or maybe just buy an extension to make it fit.
