I am wanting to add a rear view mirror monitor to my H2, and was wondering if anyone else here is running a similiar setup. I see the SAVV monitor, but was curious what else was out there. There are also several on ebay that include a rear camera for less than $200. Anyone running anything other than the SAVV? Thanks in advance.

Also, does anyone know what the rear view monitors on the new limited edition would cost? Or are they even avalable for ordering seperately?

No one is using a rear view mirror monitor for their back up cam?

The mirror alone for the limited edition trucks is $1500. Add the cost of the camera and cable.
SAVV is the most common option for a mirror/camera combo. Visteon has one under development, but it's supposedly still 3-4 months away.

Audiovox has one but none in stock. I'm leaning toward the SAVV unit since the price is not too bad. One thing I wish though is to keep the temperature/compass reading.

This rear view mirror would be very useful. I'm also planning to install this on my ride. Is this expensive?

I have had the SAVV for about 5 years. It works great, has 2 inputs (NAV and BU Cam) and I wish there was a way to keep the TEMP Guage but there is no way. I thought about removing the guage from the mirror and reinstalling it in the overhead console box but I think that would be a crazy job. I actually purchased an additional mirror to canabalize but when I opened it it looked impossible to me.
