Here are just a few shots and some video my wife took. There were tons of Hummers out there, and tons of pictures taken. Hopefully we'll see some more popping up soon.

At any rate... Here are mine.

K-Rock Video - 7 megs
Just 2 obstacles I did. I'm not in the mood to go through all 30 minutes of video and edit it, and set to music and such.

My new Tough Country Armor Guard Front and Rear Replacement bumpers with a hidden winch tray built in.

Hummerteam.com is set into the rear bumper with polished stainless steal as the backdrop.

Coming down a hill

Up a hill

Rear wheel airborn.

The front passanger and rear driver are both off the ground in this picture. It was a real nice teeter spot.

Great stuff Jim! What a great weekend! We had quite a few forum folks out there from the 40+ vehicles on the run. Great to put names with faces.

I'll have more photos and video on hummerteam.com early this week!

Very nice Detonate. Hey is your avatar an actual picture of you?

Detonate 10-06-2003 10:19 PM

My avatar was sorta a self portrait.

I didn't really stop and conciously compare the two. But I'm sure it's a bit heavier. Not enough to make any difference on my Gas gauge as of yet.

Phil...

I watched the guys from Tough Country unload Jim's bumper from the bed of a pickup before they installed it on his H2. It took 3 men to handle it. Most of the bumper is fabricated from 10ga material and the winch basket appears to be atleast 3/8" plate. The bumper is definitely a heavy duty piece and should withstand just about any object it encounters.

Next time you head to Houston check them out, as they are located in El Campo and are right on your way. I think you will be as impressed as I was with their products.

It really looks like an awsome product, and they'd definitely take the H2 out of the mall warior category.

Is there a concern as to springs and shocks when hanging such heavy stuff on the front and back???

I'm not sure if there is any impact on the vehicle. It drives just as it always did.

I know Tough Country has been making bumpers for other makes and models for a loooong time. The only reason they ended up making products for the H2 is becuase one of their distributors, Star Customs, wanted a beefy bumper and rack for his H2, and was willing to lend it to Richard and Brent borrow it long enough for them to do the R & D.

They are now on their 3rd or 4th revision of the product based on feedback.

I hope they make replacement armor for the remaining plasitc trim pieces on the outside of the H2 one of these days.

Well - - it all looks great!

I'm definitely going to consider it....

My dealer sent me a link to their web site quite a while back...at that time their stuff still looked a little rudementary....I can see now it is evolving. If I remember they did have some bad ass looking stuff for GM trucks and such.
