The area of Illinois I live in is known for being snobby and wealthy. In between all these towns there is an armpit called Highwood. Very poor dingy area. Well a currency exchange was robbed today by 4 gunmen in an H2. Already not the brightest candles on the birthday cake, very inconspicuious car choice. Well after the robbery they sped away and were chased by police. Somehow the H2 managed to roll and become totaled. Three of the men were arrested while one ran from the scene. They are looking for him now. Just thought you guys would like to know.

Hummer is the wrong choice of vehicle for any crime endeavors, including any attempt to meet ladies in the entertainment trade, especially for such high profile cash transaction; double stupidity if one anticipate any chance of high speed pursuit. My Hummer would have been caught at the on-ramp, before it even got on the freeway. Nevertheless, a good choice of Hummer color-black, it shows good taste, it would not be right to do it in an orange or red or green or pewter or white Hummer, I agree with that small part of their operation.

What kind of mods? why don't the news be more specific on the details of aftermarket accessories and tires on this Hummer? Does it have a fuel door? what kind of fuel door? I am asking on behalf of our founder Hummer Man.

Mac,

Seems like this would be appropriate.

I have always said "thank God" that most criminals are not too bright...its the really smart ones that scare me....if they hadn't used an H2, perhaps they could have 'borrowed' my Corvette Grand Sport convertible, also a suitable low profile vehicle for getaways

But, Corvette has only 2 seats. If one guy must keep the engine running, one services the Friday paycheck customers and one handles the cash transaction; the logistic just does not work out with a Corvette.

They should have gone off-road and had another car waiting. Talk about dumb ****s.

Late-model, LOL. Makes it sound like it been around for long time. I can imagine the cops arguing...

-It was an 04 H2!
-No! It was an 03! Notice the antenna positioning!
