Last night my check engine light came on and stays on steady. The truck seems to run ok. We still have factory warrenty on it. has any one had this problem,and what was wrong.I need to make an appointment and get it fixed, then I will post again.

sniper,,, this has been an issue with alot of people...it could be anything....mine came on when the stanz locking gas cap failed...try simple stuff first, then bring it in to dealership.....soft....

As long as it's not flashing you should be ok, until you can figure it out, or get it to the dealer....did you call onstar for a remote diagnostic??

Mine starts blinking whenever I drive with less than 1/4 tank. It starts to lurch and lose power.

When I fill up, the problems and the blinking disappear.

This has been happening for over a year now. But I rarly drive below 1/2 a tank.

The check engine light is still on. We have a appointment on Friday @ 0730 hrs. I guess we will know what is wrong then.

Got it back from the shop today and the problem was a (fuel tank pressuer sensor)
I guess it is something in the fuel tank?
I dont know what it does but the light is off now.

No... your gas cap wasn't on correctly.
