Re: So dissapointed- Headders/ Borla exhaust

I made the mistake of dropping $800 on a Magnaflow system for my brand new 300C back in late '05, man I was so disappointed it wasn't funny.
Yeah, it made a slightly, and I mean slightly louder...

Re: Aftermarket mirrors- no power fold?

Yeah, mine both quit folding about 6 months ago, but the drivers side also quit going up and down at the same time.
It's annoying that they don't do what their trained to do, but thank goodness I...

Re: Other good H2 or H2 related forums

Re: Project Validation from 2005+ H2 Owners

No, not working properly.

I just took my '07 bumper lights apart last week to replace the bulbs and found one of the plastic light housings full of water, this also led to some corrosion on the...

Re: set of h2 U-steps for $1,100+ on eBay?!!

These are the exact same steps I sold to this person at the end of November for $732 plus $50 for shipping.
So not a bad profit for them as the steps sold at just $1100. That's $300 in 3...

Re: Will Hummers become valuable classics?

Think Grand Wagoneer from '62 into '91; that's very much my impression of the H2's future into collectibility.
The Wagoneer is a really cool proven luxury 4x4 and nice original or restored models...

Re: Time for new tires and wheels

Do you do any offroading with it? Might seem silly, but you can go with BFG AT's up to 37, not sure if any bigger.
I'll be stepping up to the KM2's when we replace ours in a couple months and...

Re: Should I get a winch?

One of the other forums a guy is selling a 10K Warn with synthetic cable for $730 shipped---that's a damn good price.
But for as little as you would ever use it, I think your money would be spent...

Re: dropping fuel prices

Hey OC--your last couple of posts really have me scratching my head on towing with a diesel in your deuce.
I've been towing a 30ft travel trailer weighed in around 6400-6600 pounds for local camping,...

Re: SEMA 2012

Man, that's awesome you got to do SEMA, one of the items on both my wife and I bucket list.

As for the HUMMER showing at SEMA---realistically, that's what you've got to expect. SEMA showcases all...

Re: h2 feeling a bit sluggish when towing, what are my options to increase torque?

What? The alternator is turning harder?
The alternator load on the engine will be the same regardless of adding accessories that draw more power, just in bigger power draw cases like stereo...

We crawled all over the Infiniti at a...

Re: Use of Air to power lug wrench

I've used it to air up at the end of trail runs and the fittings at the truck were so hot you...

Re: 07 H2 driver side mirror not going in or out

Thanks for all the inputs folks.

I can adjust the driver mirror up and down by hand, no gear stripping noise, and it has some resistance so it holds where placed by hand.
The driver mirror adjusts...
