If it is effecting the ommissions frm exhaust they will probably change it for free.... mine is 74,000 miles 2005 and my onstar says still under warranty for smog up to 80000

Went to dealer they wouldnt repair cluster.... and they wanted $369 to fix wipers.... it goes by the vin number to see if it is a recall or not..

Anyway i order a set of 7 stepper motors on ebay...

Mine squeeking its brains out..and then the occassional metal to metal clunk.... very low speeds like parking etc ..... when I changed the front wheel bearings ... for the HUM ....the noise is gone.

I have the nucleus... pain in the butt... when you are on normal XM radio and you flick through the channels as soon as you get to the last favorite channel it goes straight to ipod even if it isnt...

hopefully the pictures turn out.

found the problem, found how they were getting in... turns out there is nothing to stop them going right into the motor.

my fix .... made a wire...

OK guys I found the inlet and it is right on top of the motor..the little ****s are coming up the wheel well and (if you look under the hood to the left side of the washer bottle) there is a square...

stripped all that out today including the full panel from end to end below the windshield were the wiper arms are.

new bait tonight.... they seem to be eating the green pellets from the wedge...

ok answering these myself I think... there is no cabin filter... saw an old post where the guy had one but being a 2005 nothing there... looks plastic welded.

Want to keep the stock wheels and just replace tires for now.... times are hard.

Remove Glove Box ( three self tap bolts along the bottom hinge)
Remove lower Sound panel (two self tap bolts)

Thank You............so I take it this can be done in place or does the blower housing etc have to come out too... which would mean the dash coming out... surely the manufacturers thought about this .
