I'll sign that petition!

I think the smaller H3 is intended to compete with Jeep and that is not the market segment GM should target with the Hummer nameplate. Let Chevrolet and GMC do battle with...

There is a Terminator Package H2 on eBay.

I'm perfectly satisfied with the H2 as is. The H2 may be a form of excess in and of itself, but some of these modifications and add-ons are purely absurd....

Gary:

Thanks for the info.

I've been looking at winches for a while and I think the new thermometric that you have is the way to go!

I'm a bit concerned about not being able to open the hood all...

Speaking of green; I'm suprised that there aren't more green H2s. I've never seen one on the road.

The green was my 2nd choice, as I think it is Hummer's prototype color [military roots]. IMO, It is...

I bought my rack at http://www.sportsrack.com/

$650.00 and it took me all of 45 minutes to assemble and mount. More cargo space, no rear carrier to swing open & close every time you access back of...

Use Regular (which usually translates to 87 octane here in CA).

Air Filter has an extended life, but there are many aftermarket options.

Oil filter: I just bought a couple and they are tiny for...

MAC:

XM is not for me either, so I'm in your camp: perfectly pleased with AM and FM and the fabulous 6-disc changer.

Good question; I don't see the need to spend even more money on such stuff, but...

battlewagon:

The rack and tire bring the highest point to 7'9" and that figure is not entirely accurate, so I'd bump the measure up to as much as 7'11" for variance.

The rack mounts and 2...

Based on a few posts on the same topic, I'd say not having an invoice is unusual. I received a full color printout with the Build Date indicated.

My H2 took a bit less than 2 weeks from the Build...

I think the verdict on this question was that you need to get a receiver, since the stock unit is not XM-ready.

Audiovox sells a fairly cheap interface and you'd have a small cube shaped antenna...

MAC:

I removed the brush guard because I felt it was overkill and made for a cluttered look. I've owned 4 x 4s my entire driving-age life and most of my trail comrades don't use brush guards either....

I removed my brush guard and U-steps. Here are a few reasons why my u-steps are in storage:
