Re: How many will be trading in their 5 cylinder H3's for an Alpha?

I'll definitly trade up once the options and pakages are all worked out. The nasty freeway hills around here are killing the mpg anyways. Plus I get GMID, so I'll do what I did last time, just wait...

Re: Subercharger vs. Turbocharger

:iagree:

The I5 for one thing just isn't made from high enough strength components to run more than 5-8psi on either a sc or turbo. Even if you could find enough room to run an innercooler you're...

Re: Here are the Rancho 0" shock specs

A hardened S.S. stud extender is the easiest way to go to get more length out of the stock shocks. I'm sure someone makes a proper size one with the correct thread size. I doubt ready lift is...

Re: What does a busted front diff sound like??

Got it back, really fast service. They said I had a bad front drive shaft. I really haven't gone through the invoice, so I don't know exactly what was replaced, but it isn't making the clacking...

Re: What does a busted front diff sound like??

It was clacking REALLY bad this morning so we dumped it at the dealer. Of course, by the time we drove it the 55 miles, we couldn't duplicate the noise, but the guy thought it might be the CV's...

What does a busted front diff sound like??

 My just started to click and clack in the 4 auto mode. It goes away when locked. Or is this more likely a CV joint going? And I don't abuse it. I did high center it in the snow, but that...

Re: Hummer Service Experience

At least you have a bunch of dealerships to take it too. I have one within 400 miles of me and they suck ass. And I have to take it to them because not one other GM dealership will even look at it....

Re: Loving the SNOW!

I wouldn't try 2 feet with the stock 265 goodyears. My lifted X will do about a little over a foot with those tires but that's pushing it. The adventure 285's might have a better chance. 35's w/...

Re: Loving the SNOW!

I swaped the goodyears from the 3 to my Xterra and put on Nitto TerraGrappler 295/75/16. They plow through anything NOT deep enough to high center the truck

Re: Loving the SNOW!

We've had snow since just before x-mas!! Just got another couple inches today. I've driven through about 18"-2 feet, covering the running boards, on a dirt road. No tracks, No chains!! Had to go...

Re: Can a locker be put in the non-adv H3?

Yea, i would love to have some sort of locker or at least a limited slip kit like the Phantom Grip, But I'm not ready to trade the truck in just to get it. I wish i'd done a little more reasearch,...

Re: Western PA blizzard

Yep, my street isn't even clear yet. We've got at least 4" slushie ice left on it and my back yard still has over a foot in some places:jump:

I'm hoping for at least another foot. My skis are...

Re: Classified VIN #

Cool look on the VIN, but is it just the angle of the shot, or does your green machine need a t-bar crank? Those 35's take up a lot of the front wells...

Re: Totaled my H3 into a Tree.. Anyone have a GM ID

Sorry to hear about the wreck.

On a 38, you'll see a discount of about 4G's. We got like 5.5G off a sticker of almost 41. The big problem is all the dealer add-ons you listed. They don't have to...

Re: Remote Starter / Alarm systems.

You need to talk with the general manager of the C.C. you had the unit installed at. They need to fix it or take it out and refund your money, simple as that. It sounds like an install problem, not...

Re: anyone running nitto terra grapplers on the 3

I run the 295/75 NTG's on stock 16" rims. Haven't run anything hard core, but no grip problems and they're not loud on the highway. I finally found a good place to wheel that I would need to drop...

Looks like fun!! I never did the wheeling trip in Big Bear when I lived down there. Only through the snow to the ski mountain.

Re: Exhaust,intake,throttle body spacer

PCMforless.com is doing a tune now for $199

If you want the exhaust open you need to get rid of the crushed piping in the downpipe, before and after the cat. And the intake, the part that is...
