Re: Nitto Mud Grappler Tires & KMC Hoss Wheels

They are not mounted and balanced.

You need to do that yourself so that they can install your TPS monitor anyway.

The wheels are 18x9, 4.5 inches of backspacing, and black in color, with chrome...

Re: Nitrous

I would not do it unless you're running base size tires.

The engine really stresses to turn the additional rotational mass of larger tires, especially 35's.

If you start spraying on top of a...

Tie Rod and CV Part Numbers?

Can anyone show me on GMPartsDirect.com exactly what needs to be ordered to fix a broken CV?

And do I need a tie rod boot to go with the inner and outer tie rod?

Re: Increased MPG

It would have been incredibly easy for the dyno operator to run the system with a very heavy load the first time, resulting in a below average MPG, and then with a super light load (lower than would...

Re: Are the door's water proof?

These conflicting answers are pissing me off.

Whether I come out with more respect for my H3, or soaked carpets, I'm going to find out for myself.

Pics to follow in the coming weeks.

Are the door's water proof?

As far as crossing water deeper than the rocker panel, are the doors sealed water tight?

In other words, if I get water above the lowest part of the door, is it going to come in?

Tie-Rod / CV Replacement Procedure?

I'm going to pick up a spare tie-rod and CV, but I don't know how to replace them.

Does anyone have a write up?

Thanks.

Re: New 35 toyos and have some questions...

Of course you have more clearance.

If you install tires with more sidewall, you're effectively lifting the vehicle further off the ground.

Not on the truck.

They're stacked up in my living room right now...

I'll see if I can get some tomorrow.

Re: 18" vs 20" wheel and tire size help needed please

I went with 18 inch KMC Hoss wheels and 35 inch Mudd Grapplers.

Had I not planned on off-roading as much as I can, I would have gone with 20's.

Re: H3T - Four Wheeler May '08 - early intro review

I like the looks, and I'm sure the extra bed space would be very practical, but won't the longer wheel base make it less at home off-road?
