Re: 3rd transfer case seal in a year!

Might check with any local GM deal to determine part availability. The bearing should be fine and no need to replace it unless you remove it.

Re: 3rd transfer case seal in a year!

The clunk is normal for GM trucks. A longer prop is not good idea as it has to move in/out due to suspension travel in rear. The prop is causing early seal failure because small rocks and dirt get...

Re: Rear Shock Replacement/Recommendation

Contrary to popular belief, that high pressure gas charged shocks dont assist with Ride Height, I have found this to false. They do in fact provide assistance to the coil springs because they are...

Re: 2003 H2 with 12" lift and 42s

Griots does work great! No need to use the prep stuff at all, just a good wash first. It applies much better when you pick up one of those thin foam paint brushes at home depot - it helps to get in...

Re: h2 feeling a bit sluggish when towing, what are my options to increase torque?

There have been many posted results of electric fan conversion dyno results. It typically nets about 10-25 horsepower. It's a no-brainer upgrade! These hp gains are at the wheels! Use Google;)

Re: h2 feeling a bit sluggish when towing, what are my options to increase torque?

Don't do what the Internet tells you, use the EXACT brand items I suggested or all bets are off! The brands I suggested are proven on an H2! The electric fan conversion can be searched on this forum,...

Re: h2 feeling a bit sluggish when towing, what are my options to increase torque?

Dynatech long tube headers & high flow cats, volant intake, diablo predator programmer! If towing regularly with 37s, you really need 4.88 gearing, imho

I'd also strongly consider electric fan...

Re: well It finally happen, The h2 was broken into.

Most GOOD alarm systems and later model garage door openers have anti-code-grabbing feature, where the code changes each time.

Re: Suspension Discussion

Front end bounce can also be contributed to worn steering parts, where toe in and out will magnify any bouncing that would normally level out quickly. Typically this is pitman and idler arms but worn...

Re: E-fans, Diablo, And Nelson

Why even worry about the color when we both already know that Diablo doesn't enable it? Go directly to the AC compressor. Before doing this, determine if the Nelson harness includes the relay for it...

Re: E-fans, Diablo, And Nelson

Can you confirm the Nelson harness has a wire to adapt to pin 33?

Have you checked pin 33 for output voltage, either using dummy light or voltmeter? If no voltage, and nelson harness has a separate...

Re: E-fans, Diablo, And Nelson

Get Nelson on the line for assistance in answering the question, "Does the harness support both temperature activation on Pin 42 and High Mode when AC is enabled for pin 33"? I was not aware of the...

What does color have to do with Mods?

Mods = reciprocating saw, welder, etc....maybe a plasma cutter. Mine are red or black, with the exception of my cordless reciprocating saw, which is a yellow...

Re: Suspension Discussion

The only way I'd ever put 40s on an H2 is if I installed a solid axle up front and push things forward enough to allow for plenty of tire clearance. I'd also address the steering woes with a...

Re: FYI -- no m/ t equals stuck on beach

The ATs will actually give you better traction in sand if your down low enough (18 psi). I wouldn't go much lower without beadlocks. You can, but the risk of breaking a bead goes up pretty quick on a...

Re: Upgrade Steering and Suspensions Parts

Never had an issue with that bushing

Bilstein stabilizer will be fine. However, upgrading to an aftermarket one is still questionable on an H2 as most folks upgrade before ever experiencing a need...

Re: Upgrade Steering and Suspensions Parts

That was likely me that reported cardones have less vibration with cranked TBs above 70mph. It was very clear they are smoother when cranked.

Re: Airbags for the rear?

Air Lift aftermarket bags work great. I am not sure you need longer bags for a lifted rig as they only need to support a few of the coils, as they do on a stock height H2 anyhow - they dont touch top...
