Re: 2006 H3 hit head on and totaled

Glad you're ok. Heard about a lot of accidents in H3's, but no serious injuries (I mean paralyzing injuries, not that a broken sternum doesn't sound ouchy). It sure makes me feel better in mine. ...

Re: Tranny issues?

Doesn't sound normal. Haven't seen/heard of to many trans issues with the H3. Heard of radiators going bad and contaminating the trans, but if that were the case, I'm guessing it would be way...

Re: AVOID AT ALL COSTS: LOAD BOSS/ Alterstart alternators on eBay

Thanks for the heads up. I have been appalled at some of the service I have received lately from almost everyone (from McDonalds to Checker Auto Parts). You'd think any business would be falling...

Re: 06 H3 and 4 low lock

It sounds like you just have to get rolling to make the shift happen. Try putting it in neutral and letting the brake off to relieve any driveline bind to see if that helps.

Re: H3 lifts

No, Rancho is not the only lift. There's also Tuff Country that makes a 4" lift and a handful of companies that make leveling kits. Most people run the Bilstein leveling shocks from Trail Duty...

Re: Traded 06 for 09 H3T Alpha

That's damn handsome. Ditch the chrome. How did your trade in go? I have been thinking about doing this with all the incentives and what not, but I'm pretty sure I'll get the shaft on the trade....

Re: chrome be gone and 1" body lift ???

The handles and mirrors are an easy fix. There's another hummer forum with posted how to's for both. And you dont have to remove the interior door panel to get the handles off. The torsion crank...

Re: 8 months later and now I have my hummer

Just crank the torsion bars until the front is level, It seems to be about 24" for most from the center of the hub to the fender lip. You dont need to buy the leveling kit. But you do want to go to...

Re: Problem with Door

Haven't heard of any door latch problems on H3's yet. Is the door not actually latching (does the door line up with the body when its closed?) or is it just your message center leading you to...

Re: maintenance question

The reason the price is so high is because all the fluids they are changing are synthetic. If they are talking 170 for a trans flush with 16 new quarts of dex 6 then its a hell of a deal. If...

Re: PLEASE HELP, Rattles ugh !!!

For your rear rattle, try takin off the door that covers your jack and tightening the jack hold down knobs. I've had to do that a couple times in mine. As for the others, check what you can then...
