Just curious - what was the VIN on your H3 ?

I?m (also) believing to be on the safe side (my VIN is like 1000 above the "problematic", truck is April 06...

I will need to buy a step down transformer for the block heater (220V outlets here)
- what I dont know is: How many Watts ?

- disable Auto door lock if wished
(always grab the other handle only to find that all doors excepts
drivers are locked :D )
- heated mirrors
- telescoping steering wheel, maybe?...

Not yet :) but I park most of the time on level ground so I just leave the 1st gear in and don?t use the brake at all.
Also,this is my first car/truck with brake pedal - so I have to concentrate...

f5fstop, if my truck was build 17-18th April 06 (at least thats what is on all the stickers -on ctrl arms and engine bay etc) - does that mean that the new hardened valve guides are in?

That?s right, but DRL?s are not enough, we are required here to have headlamps on all the time ( not that bad thing if you ask me - a motorcycle rider ;) )

Does anyone know where exactly is the daylight sensor for auto lights located on the dashboard ? :confused:

I want to cover it permanently, so that the lights are always on (required by law here)...

I hate to admit it but I haven?t been off road yet... :mad:
I still have no licence plate and registration - there?s no official Hummer dealer in the country, and each H3 (or 2+1 for that matter)...

That?s right, but what I meant is that during the upshift the revs fall very slowly, so that before engaging the clutch again the truck loses momentum...

Jp, I wonder what you found, because this spoils my fun with the rig :mad: ,
the revs are "stuck" esp.when shiftin 2 to 3, it takes soooo long to drop to match the upshift..... It been happening on...

I know, I know.... But it was just seating the piston rings today :p and getting familiar with the truck. I love the feel of it, thats just what I wanted.
